Life is fatal - enjoy it.

Don't forget  - when you drive down the road you are 5 feet from death - a head on crash is possible anytime.

Gods greatest gift to mankind - silence.

What do I want from an instructor??

  1. Teach me on the ground.
  2. Demonstrate to me in the air calling each move.
  3. Allow me to try it several times with no talking during that time – just act as my safety pilot.
  4. Put it on the ground and discuss the 3 attempts, what went wrong, and how to fix it.
  5. Demonstrate it to me again.
  6. Allow me to try it again 3 times with you acting as a safety pilot.
  7. If you think of something in the air that we need to address or something you forgot to teach me – write it down – save it for next time.
  8. Allow me to learn at my pace – please accept the fact that it is my money and this is how I want to learn.
  9. Allow me to learn the basics and get them down pat.
  10. Save your advanced landing skill to show off for another CFI – I am still learning the basics.
  11. Please schedule your time to teach me - if you have too many irons in the fire to devote your time to my teaching - please help me find an instructor that will give me their undivided attention.
  12. If you allow me the pleasure of sitting in on others training - leave me out of it - you are teaching them.
